An idea conceived by and for the enthusiasts of extracurricular pursuit
What came to be an extracurricular portfolio harnesser on 30th April 2014 turned out to be something of a necessity for many people a decade later. The Chittagong University Model United Nations Association born as an idea conceived by and for the enthusiasts of extracurricular pursuit, truly took off after its initial obstacles of promotion and scaling within the campus premises.
This multi-faceted association has not only developed a robust network of MUN enthusiasts but also nurtured latent talents to serve their academic and research purposes. Additionally, CUMUNA became a crucible for networking with people from every corner of Bangladesh via their respective clubs and events.
Today, CUMUNA stands as a name ubiquitously mentioned as an exemplary association, promoting the goodwill of emerging youth power at the University of Chittagong. The accolades of CUMUNA members exemplify, time and time again, what young people can think and what they can achieve.
Every Sunday & Wednesday
Regular Sessions
CUMUNA hosts its weekly sessions every Sunday and Wednesday. These sessions feature comprehensive MUN workshops, strategic drills, mock simulations and contemporary seminars, functioning collectively as a high-impact cohort for soft-skill training.

Five forces, one association
Governing Board
The driving force of every tenure. The Governing Board members steer the path for the association, selected by a viva board formed by the preceding Governing Board. Through their foresight, the association has consistently reached new heights.
Meet the boardsExecutive Member
Operating as a critical link, this unit connects the Governing Board with associate members to drive the organization's seasonal mandates forward. Executive Members are appointed by the Governing Board following a comprehensive, four-step evaluation that honors individuals who have demonstrated outstanding merit, strong credentials and steadfast commitment to the organization for upwards of one year.
Associate Member
As the true heart of CUMUNA, our Associate Members represent the vibrant future of the association. They are actively nurtured through comprehensive mentorship and hands-on experience, transforming latent talent into executive capability.
Trustee Board
Composed of the former leaders who guide CUMUNA through thick and thin, the Board of Trustees is a prestigious role endowed to the Secretary-General of the preceding CUMUN event. The advice of the trustees is held in the highest regard, proving pivotal to expanding corporate networks and selecting the Governing Board.
